University of North Bengal

The engineering department of North Bengal University is catering their services on 24x7 basis. The engineers and staffs of this department are working relentlessly from the inception of this department. The department is providing comprehensive services for electrical, civil and S&P works. They have established of taking enormous work load in last couple of few years.

At present apart from their regular maintenance works they have initiated few major construction activities which are listed below –

Construction of one Womens’ Hostel. (Ongoing)
Horizontal Extension of Philosophy Department. (Ongoing)
Construction of Toilet Block, CCTV monitoring cell, Information Centre, Career Counselling and Placement cell. (Ongoing)
Construction of Boys’ Hostel at Jalpaiguri 2nd campus. (Ongoing)
Construction of Girls’ Hostel at Jalpaiguri 2nd campus. (Ongoing)
Major renovation of Humanities Building. (Ongoing)
Construction of ST Girl’s Hostel. (Upcoming)
Construction of Vigyan Bhawan cum Auditorium. (Upcoming)
Construction of Siksha Bhawan. (Upcoming)
Extension of Khela Ghar (Upcoming)
Thorough renovation of Life Science Building. (Initiated)
Construction of Teachers’, Officers’, Staffs’ Quarter. (Proposed)
Horizontal Extension of Engineering Department. (Proposed)
Construction of 2nos Electrical Substation. (Proposed)
